Several items need noting prior to beginning this dissertation. When I use the term "I", I'm not just talking about myself. I'm talking about all the Beings who walk with me and who have done so since before I was born into this physical body. "I" is, for me, really "We" since we are all one Being but separate even though we are not "separate". We operate as a cooperative unit. Each having it's own opinions, feelings, thoughts and experiences. These Beings, I refer to as "the Ancestors", come from all the Universes, cultures and times even though we are all "Timeless". However, eventually, all things return to, become and are then, once again, part of the Light from whence all Beings originally come.
I, Purpetual Motion, in certain regard, am a "Catalyst" for all the "physical and spiritual" activity, which we are involved in. These Beings protect, guide and advise me (some of which I do not take) in physical as well as spiritual matters.
Being a "Catalyst" requires massive amounts of energy and, therefore prior to coming into the physical body, my body was specifically designed to vibrate at a much faster speed than the "matter, i.e. Atoms, molecules, etc." in and around me. Even my DNA structure is different from that of any other physical body. I am now "physically" 62 years old and the toll this activity has taken on my physical body restricts me from doing many of the physical activities I use to do.
On the other side of that coin, my life has been enriched by all the experiences I/We have had over the time we've been together and I wouldn't trade it for anything else. I have, at times, felt that I was going through unnecessary physical suffering and pain. However, since my belief system does not include pain and suffering, I have accepted all of it as simply a "part of the physical journey" which I have learned much from. We have used these experiences to help others who are on the Path to Enlightenment. Therefore, I am living proof of what the Ancient Texts, Masters, Philosophers, etc. have been saying for many thousands of years.
Even though it is late, but the right time has come to decode the sacred 'symbols' and its 'secrecy'. Otherwise the symbol no longer serves the "greater good" and 'it' is time for all of us to step up to the plate and put the 'facts'. I personally wrote the same to my brothers in India, and they open the door for researchers and scholars to pen down their study on “The Birds-the Symbol of souls. Hope this will proves that “we are not alone” and “we are belongs to one family” and the children the Universal Mother. I would like to convey my sincere thanks to www.srilalitha.org for uploading this article.
The birds, symbol of souls
The legends, and myths of different parts of the world are the rich supply of stories about the birds as symbol of souls and very of them given below.
The Cochti have a story about ancient people who lost faith in the Great Mother. In anger, she deprived them of rain for four years. The people noticed that the only creature that thrived during this drought was Hummingbird. When they studied its habits, the shamans learned that Hummingbird had a secret passageway to the underworld. Periodically, it went there to gather honey. Further study revealed that this doorway was open to Hummingbird alone because it had never lost faith in the Great Mother. This information inspired the people to regain faith. After that the Universal Mother took care of them.
It is customary among German Jews, when a death occurs, to open a window in order that the soul may fly away like a bird (compare Liebrecht, "Zur Volkskunde," 1879 p. 371). On birds around God's throne see Merkabah.K.
The Arabs also regarded the soul as a bird, and believed that after death it hovered at times around the body, screeching like an owl (Mas'udi, "Les Prairies d'Or," iii. 310, Paris, 1864; Sprenger, "Das Leben Mohammeds," i. 358, note; Kremer, "Gesch. der Herrschenden Ideen des Islams," 1868, pp. 166 et seq.).
In Psalm xi. 1 the soul is compared to a bird: "Flee as a bird to your mountain." As living beings which move and fly through the air, birds have suggested themselves at all times and in all lands to primitive man as images of the soul, the name for which in most languages is taken from breathing ("nefesh," "neshamah,"=" anima," or "psyche"); the soul was represented in the form of a butterfly, as illustrated by the tombs of the early Christians (Aringhi, "Roma Subterranea Novissima," ii. 324).
The soul of the king of Egypt was pictured on the monuments as a bird; and the genius ("frawashi") of the kings of Assyria and Persia retained the wings of the bird (Rawlinson, "Herodotus," ii. 105, note 1; idem, "Ancient Monarchies," ii. 28, iii. 353; compare also Simrock, "Handbuch der Deutschen Mythologie," p. 461).
In the Zohar the sparrow and the swallow, spoken of in Ps. lxxxiv. 3, are compared to the souls of the righteous which dwell in paradise, exactly as are those mentioned in the Baruch Apocalypse. Three times a year, in Nisan and Tishri, they rise upon the walls of paradise and sing the praise of the Master of the universe; whereupon they are ushered into the palace where the Messiah is hidden, called the great "Souls' Nest."
Further the combined research and study by our sisters and brothers on "The Birds, The symbol of Souls", may give us a clue as to why Solomon built the Temple in the form of a Bird.
