Indigenous Horoscope Patricia Anne Davis, USA.     In a general sense there is a distinction between esoteric knowledge and secular knowledge; esoteric astrology and mundane astrology; soul purpose and personality characteristics and life experience.  This may sound like an either/or description as it is stated here.  In a spiritually unified language world-view the esoteric is interconnected and interrelated with the mundane in everyday living.  In short, the thought is the thing.  In an Indigenous tribal language world-view everyday living is a spiritual way of life; interconnected and interrelated to natural law and to the natural order of the cycles of time, seasons and equinoxes.  Indigenous spiritual knowledge includes life purpose, origin of order, clockwise direction, and co-creative intention, co-creative decisions and synergy within a synchronistic universal system.  This is metaphysical and esoteric.  In the conventional view, mundane refers to the interactions and reactions to money, romance, travel and relationship compatibility, etc.  Secular knowledge is dualistic perception in terms of a good/bad and right/wrong interpretation of life.     We do not have knowledge of an Indigenous horoscope comparable to the conventional view of astrology.  There may have been such knowledge before European contact that does not remain today because of pervasive conditioning to an English language world-view in the trans-generational acculturation process.  Indigenous creation stories from oral tradition provide a frame of reference for explaining why any out-of- balance condition occurs and how to correct the core issues of the symptoms. The origin of our soul in perfect balance, harmony and oneness with Creator is considered an eternally existing state - past, present and future.  Indigenous healing ceremonies recreate the creation story in living power words to evoke remembering original soul purpose.  The reason for understanding soul purpose is to correct our misunderstanding about our spiritual SELF-Identity - the sacred-SELF, the true-SELF.  Spiritual healing ceremonies do not correct the deficiencies of the mis-creations of the trickster-self, which are socially engineered and conditioned mal-adaptive patterns to alleviate the fear of survival.  They must be cleansed, purified and re - framed into the original purpose of universal natural order.       Thus, appropriate tribal communication and relationship patterns as an individual and as part of an extended clan-family system are described as living life with soul purpose on the liberation path of return to Creator.  In the ancient past, perhaps there was no need for a detailed horoscope because daily living was designed according to divine law, natural law or natural order.  People knew the blessing way teaching and lived the principles as a way of life.      The basis for equality in the blessing way teaching is that everyone is equally composed of air-spiritual; fire-mental; water-emotive; earth-physical; and food as social/economic holistic wellbeing.  People are not considered as composed of only one of these elements.  Everyone lives in the universe and the universe exist within each.  The concept of true diversity is in our clan system.  This means that the original first four clans created by white shell woman-changing woman have inherent unique gifts of perception and abilities that are intended to work in cooperation and collaboration among these clans.  Over the years many other related clans were created from mixed marriages.   Today there are nine (9) major clan groups who represent an ideal communication and relationship system for a creative decision-making process in problem resolution within and between all the clan groups.  The groups of related clans are included within the matrix of the nine major clan groups.  This is the true meaning of “diversity”  where each person’s gifts are valued and utilized in one’s life experience.  No one and no one clan group is denied a healthy expression of inherent unique gifts.       The purpose of group consensus and group survival is to utilize everyone’s gifts to benefit the common good of tribal society.  This is considered the ideal method of decision-making and problem resolution.  Individuals within each clan group have their inherent unique gifts, but they also have the main characteristics of their clan group.  This might be similar to how individuals in one astrological sign have their individual inherent unique gifts, but they also have the main characteristics of their astrological group sign.   This type of decision-making process is intended to be carried out within the context of natural order.  There could not be any dispute about what was spiritually ethical, healthy and safe when outcomes were visible and provable.  The course of decision and action in famine and floods, etc. Was group consensus for group survival.  There had to be power within to have power with others in a socially cohesive and competent way.  This type of decision-making was not conquest and power over as in representational governance by majority vote in a domination and submission communication and relationship context. Think about the logic of one or a few individual or clan groups dictating the decision- making with only their own inherent unique gifts that did not include the other perspectives.   This situation is considered being out-of-balance and harmony with the natural order in the universe.  The diagnosis in this case would be that this out-of-balance condition is an illness in need of being restored to resonate with the original existing balance and harmony within the natural order.  Indigenous healing ceremonies are designed to restore people to an existing resonance in perfect harmony and balance in oneness, holiness and wholeness with Creator.  It was each person and each clan’s responsibility to do their part in maintaining spiritually ethical, healthy and safe decisions for one’s self and for other people’s wellbeing.  Humane beings were instructed by Creator to serve one anther in the natural order by mutuality and reciprocal obligation for healthy helping in the clan-family system.  From this original teaching the mistakes made and the lessons learned from correcting them was an integral part of the spiritual life journey of awakening to the power of authenticity in truth, love, peace, beauty and joy.  The original instructions for living the loving way are literally within the natural order of the universe.     Each clan has their descriptive name and story of origin.  The first four clans originating in the four cardinal directions have a color, gemstone, an animal guardian symbolizing the cooperation of the mineral, animal, human and angelic kingdom in maintaining a reverent way of life.  The instructions for why and how to conduct healing ceremonies was given to us by the holy people, our primordial ancestors.  This may be similar to the concept of ascended masters and light beings in the conventional view.  Who are the holy people?   Oral tradition says they were our primordial ancestors who did everything on this earth that was not good at one time or another until by trial and error they learned the song, the prayer, the medicinal herbs and the ceremony for cleansing, purification and reorientation to spiritual wellbeing and holistic wellness.  When a violation of natural law occurs, there must be a remembering and restoring process for healing the denial of oneness and sense of separation, not just coping within the out-of-balance condition.  There must be an awakening process to the natural order which may be our form similar to a horoscope.     We have a name for the star people and there is a ceremony called the big star way that is specifically for mental health and spiritual wellbeing.  There are diagnosticians who are stargazers who communicate with star people.  The purpose of healing ceremonies is to ensure that each member of a clan family is not lost, but has direction in life, in order to travel their spiritual life journey on the path of liberation and return to Creator by living reverently within natural order.  Co-creativity with Creator, cooperation and collaboration with the holy people, the ascended masters, light beings and the angelic kingdom within divine law is compassionate compatibility.  This is living the blessing way teaching by living the loving way as a way of life on our spiritual life journey on the liberation path of return home to Creator.  This is the master design and abundance plan of our Indigenous horoscope within the universal laws of nature.
